First Skype Date with My Missionary

I am soooooooooo happy today. My heart is so full with love already :)

A while ago, me and my mish had our first Skype date. He told me about it weeks ago, but I doubted that it would really happen. Because what I know is that missionaries can contact their families on special holidays or special occasions but it doesn't say that they can also contact their girlfriends or boyfriends.

I can't help but cried and cried when we were on Skype. I have mixed emotions talking to my mish. I was happy to see him, but at the same time I was full of tears knowing there are 23 months more to go. But of course, most of my tears were tears of joy. Hahahaha. But later, we laughed because we were having a good time talking with some jokes and sharing some great events in our lives. He reminded me about the promises we've made. I'm so proud to tell him that I am still and will always be keeping our promises. He is really doing great in serving the Lord. I am so lucky to have him and I will forever be grateful to have him in my life. :D

With him on Skype
Here's a collage photo of me and my mish while we were on Skype. My twin was the one who pictured us 'cause screen capture was our problem earlier so digital camera to the rescue. Weeeeeeee. My mish is sooooooo handsome. Everyday, my love for him is growing and distance is and will never be a problem.

'Til next time. Merry Christmas again. Have a great day! :)

Elder Balledos and His First Companion in the Field

At the Provo Temple
This is my missionary, Elder John Howard Balledos. He is assigned to labor in Salt Lake City, Utah for two years. 1 month and 5 days have passed since he arrived at Provo MTC (Missionary Training Center).

His companion in the MTC is Elder Caceres
Elder Taylor (the one in the middle)
Elder Balledos is already in the field right now. His first area is Tooele. His first companion in his first area is Elder Taylor. They are doing great and they get along well with each other. I am receiving his email every Tuesday in the Philippines. But he's sending them every Monday in Utah. That's how far apart we are, we have 15 hours gap. I'm missing him alreadyyyyy :'(
