Third Companion

This is Elder Balledos' 3rd companion. His name is Elder Curry and he is from Apple Valley, California. They've been together in Tooele since his first month in the mission. They were now transferred to Kaysville already.

This is what he said in his email about that photo . "That one picture with a guy in a white shirt baby. I think I already mentioned him on my other emails. His name is Kevin Fellion. He is 52 years old. He was taught by missionaries for years..
..we invited him to be baptized one night after our amazing lesson and he said yes..
..during the baptismal service, there was a lot of people.. We had party afterwards."

Group picture of the whole zone
They played water balloon fight on their Pday (Preparation day). But before they were able to play the water balloon, they asked permission first.

So this is it, my post for his 3rd companion. 4th and 5th will be next time.

Oh, btw, yesterday, December 5 was Elder Balledos' 20th birthday. So almost 2 hours ago, I posted on Facebook a photo of us that was taken 2 years ago. I have decided to post a photo of us quite late hahaha I would like to share that photo here.

Second Companion

I am sorry but I am really a late uploader. I think I don't use computer that often anymore or I think I am just too busy in school and I have no extra time to blog.

So here are some photos of Elder Balledos' 2nd companion in the field. He is Elder Raveneau and he is a French. Elder Balledos is still in Tooele.

When Elder Balledos emailed that photo , this is what he said, "That is Tina baby. Elder Taylor baptized her. And I am wearing your tie. Hahaha." He emphasized to me the tie he is wearing because  I told him that I noticed in his emailed photos that he is not wearing the tie I gave to him. Then he said that he is wearing it on special occasions. So I bet this day was special to him :)

I'm gonna make another post for his 3rd, 4th and 5th companion. Please bear with me 'cause I'm quite busy at school :(

Life Of A Missionary Girlfriend

This is from a friend's post on Facebook and I would like to share this to you.
A bittersweet experience...

LIFE OF A MISSIONARY GIRLFRIEND:

1.You used to hate Monday but now, it's your favorite day of the week.

2. Mr. LBC and Mr. Gmail/Yahoo became your waiting buddies and witnesses of your great love.

3. You have a countdown widget installed in your PC, Tablet or phone.

4. You experience these moments when you feel that you only have an imaginary boyfriend and all the moments you spent together seems so unreal.

5. You have saved a lot of text messages coming from him and you reread it over again.

6. You took a lot of pictures and videos together before he left and you view it everytime you miss him (but most of the time, viewing them makes you miss him more tss..)

7. Whenever you see other Elders, he automatically pops up in your mind and wonder what he's doing at that very moment.

8. You have the desire to go on a mission but he doesn't want you to serve because he has a plan to marry you right away after he gets home.

9. Sometimes your FB Newsfeed is filled with RMG homecoming stories, Engagement and Temple wedding photos. It's either you feel envious or you imagine yourself experiencing those magical moments.

10. Those moments when you are lying in your bed at night and tears just start to fall from your eyes because you miss him and you keep on reminiscing the moments you had together and this waiting thing becomes unbearable sometimes.

11. You have an album of his mission pictures in your FB.

12. The best thing about his packages will always be the LETTERS.

13. You are not that creative but you tried hard to be one to make your packages for him extra special.

14. You have a blog about your love story and about your feelings and experiences as an MG.

15. Christmas and Mother's Day became extra special to you.

16. You got to meet other wonderful MGs and you seem so close though it's your 1st time to see each other personally (and you have that desire to have an unlimited talk with them about your love story haha)

Btw, RMG means Returned Missionary Girlfriend which means her missionary has finish his two-year mission already. EVERY NUMBER IS SO RELATABLE ♥

A Handwritten Letter From Him With An Envelope

Funny title, right? Well it's because for me, a letter with an envelope is more special than just a letter without an envelope. LOL.

He was supposed to surprise me with his letter but it took 2 months and 18 days to arrive here from Salt Lake City, Utah. He spoiled the surprise 'cause he was worried about the letter that it's been months that I didn't mention anything to him about a letter.

Whenever there would be no class, I usually wake up at around 11:00 in the morning, especially on summer days. So one morning on May 6, 2014, my mom woke me up at around 8:00am. She gave me a letter from the post office. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! FINALLY and SURPRISINGLY, his letter arrived. I was the happiest person that day. With no second thoughts, I opened the letter and start reading it. It was a looooong mail from him. And I was touched thinking he was able to write for me even though he was very busy on his mission. It was a Valentine's letter and while reading it, I felt like it was February 14. Hahahaha. I can't stop smiling while reading his long letter for me. It was like he was talking to me personally. Well, thanks to my power of imagination. LOL.

Btw, I said surprisingly 'cause I thought the letter won't arrive anymore. And the ugly part of this is that they tore a part of the envelope just to see if there is money inside. My mom told me that the post office SOMETIMES stole the money if they see there is :( But good thing there is none inside :D

I will forever treasure his first ever handwritten letter for me :)

His letter with the Valentine's greetings he made
Me sooo happyyyyy

Before he send to me his Valentine's greetings, he took a photo with it. I never thought he would send me this.
This is his Valentine's greetings that I posted on Facebook
HE IS THE SWEETEST! ♥

#LDSConf

He is so lucky that he was able to attend the 184th General Conference live in the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah last April 5 and 6. This is such a late post but still, I really like to share this to you. Elder Balledos emailed me this last April 10, 2014.

Baby. Read this, by Elder Scott:

Later, as I was about to graduate from the university, I fell in love with a beautiful young woman named Jeanene Watkins. I thought she was beginning to have some deep feelings for me also. One night when we were talking about the future, she carefully wove into the discussion a statement that changed my life forever. She said, “When I marry, it will be to a faithful returned missionary in the temple.”
I hadn’t thought much about a mission before then. That night my motivation to consider missionary service changed dramatically. I went home, and I could think of nothing else. I was awake all night long. I was completely distracted from my studies the next day. After many prayers I made the decision to meet with my bishop and begin my missionary application.
Jeanene never asked me to serve a mission for her. She loved me enough to share her conviction and then gave me the opportunity to work out the direction of my own life. We both served missions and later were sealed in the temple. Jeanene’s courage and commitment to her faith have made all the difference in our lives together. I am certain we would not have found the happiness we enjoy without her strong faith in the principle of serving the Lord first. She is a wonderful, righteous example!
He told me that he laughed when he heard this message from Elder Scott because he was able to relate himself to what he just heard. This message from Elder Balledos flatters me so much knowing that I'm one of the reasons why he is serving the Lord.

It's Been A While

Indeed, my title says it all. It's been a while that I have not posted anything. And it's been a while that I have not cried before I sleep or whenever I make an email for Elder Balledos. Truly, time flies so fast. Two weeks ago, he had his 5th month in his mission and after three weeks, he will hit his 6th month in his mission.

Actually, my very reason why I really need to post something today is that, I feel like I owe people another post about how things are going or about updates of him and our long-distance relationship. In my ask.fm account, anonymous people are asking me about our relationship if we're still together or if he is still my boyfriend. That's funny to me though. Well, just so you know, I am still patiently waiting for Elder Balledos and we are still exchanging looooong emails.

So here are some of his photos on his mission way back in MTC :) Actually, I have already posted these photos on Facebook but it's different if these are uploaded here. And since there are too many photos, I made a collage :)

Vain moments haha
Vain moments part 2 hahaha

And here are some photos with his first companion, Elder Taylor and others :)
Vain moments part 3 with his companion
Had his first baptism, Sister McKady
With their closest friend, Trace
Last day of being each other's companion
